When I grow houseplants in my home, there is a certain charm in growing my plants. By using houseplants in my house, I can enhanced the beauty and softened it with living and flowering greenery and houseplants. There are many different varieties of leaf colors, shapes, sizes, and textures, this is how houseplants can bring the natural world indoors and also offers many different ornamental effects. They can be used to decorate just about any interior place of our house. They also serve a wide variety of design purposes which could be used like, I can make my room look larger or smaller, or make my room come alive and fresher and add some living-color to one of my room in my home. There are many foliage plants that can be grow in the house, as well as blooming plants that are fragrant.
Indoor growing can be a good hobby that I can do anywhere in the world.
Indoor growing is also good for everybody from children to adults to learn from the experience of growing plants. Even if somebody has a physical limitations, you can grow houseplants as a pastime because allot of the activities can be done from a seated position at a table height.
Houseplants will not give anybody many challenges. If your house does not get much sun, there are many plants that you can get and grow in your home. If there are plants, that needs more light, you can get a lighting system that simulates sunlight, which makes it possible to grow even more flowering plants.
I use houseplants in different parts of my house. Small and vining plants are good choices for use in the hallways because there usually have space limitations. The kitchen of a house has the most activity and houseplants can make the room seem cozier.
Almost every plant will grow in your kitchen. A lot of people grow different types of herbs. Herbs can be used for seasonings and to cheer up your kitchen. If your kitchen has adequate light most of the herbs will do well indoors. Mint, basil, oregano, chamomile, parsley, sage, thyme, and rosemary are good choices. If you only want to grow a few herbs at a time you can put them in several different pots.

Bathrooms are another good room to grow many houseplants because most bathrooms are humid. You will need to keep the bathroom's windows closed most of the time.
Houseplants in bathrooms makes them more inviting and relaxing. If you have plants in your bathroom it makes the bathroom more relaxing.
There are many different locations in your bathroom that you can put houseplants, such as putting one on the back of your basin, on a windowsill, next to the sink or one hanging from the wall or the ceiling.
Sometime lighting may be a problem in your bathroom. If you have fairly bring rooms, most plants will thrive.
The bathroom plant's care is about the same as all of your other houseplants, except for fertilizing. If your bathrooms are small , there may need to curb plant growth. So for this ,only fertilize lightly on a monthly basis and only during the warm months. Now, if you want a plant to grow fast, you need to fertilize at full strength. Always water before and after the fertilizer is added., and allow the plant to drain.
There are many plant s that grow good in a bathroom and they are Boston fern, coleus, crouton, grape ivy, bamboo palm, zebra plant, pot hos, prayer plant, trailing philodendron, and flamingo flowers.
Houseplants goes good in both a master and guest bedrooms. Large floor plants that are in a corner of the room it feels like a vacation- like feeling to the bedroom.
Always include your houseplants in the design plan, blending them with your fabrics and other parts of your design.
When you are talking about putting houseplants in your children's room, there are many different ones that you can use. For instance, the prayer plant closes its leaves at bedtime and reopens them in the morning. This is one that children will like.
Terrariums are good projects for youngsters. In making the terrarium, add visual interest by piling up the soil to form little hills, and include accessories that children treasure, colored pebbles, rocks, marbles, polished stones, and small ornaments as well as different items such as doll furniture- chairs, tables, and umbrellas.

Smaller rooms can feel cozier with delicate, soft-leaved plants such as coleus, radiator plant, Boston fern, maidenhair fern, and nerve plant. On your side tables yon put plants on them, such as begonia, and purple velvet plant. On a coffee table you can put orchids and African violets or plants that make conversation pieces such as sensitive plant and Venus's flytrap.
In your sun room, depending on the amount of sunlight comes in and how it is heated will depend on what houseplants that can be put in there.
The direct summer sun can dry and overheat your plants in your sun room, causing leaf scorch. This can be prevent by putting up blinds or light curtains.
So as you see you can put houseplants in every room in your house. I love plants in every room in my house. The only thing is to pick the right houseplants for the right room.
